Slow North started in 2015 after founders Michelle and Jon gave birth to their first son. While pregnant they were more consciously aware of the many products in their house that contained mystery concoctions of synthetic chemicals – some of which are not required on ingredient listings. They set out to make all-natural candles in small batches.
Originally starting outside their backyard, Slow North makes their candles and teach classes in their studio in Austin, TX. Slow North's mission to making sustainable candles for the environment and healthy candles for our bodies. Made to be therapeutic- made from purposeful intentions, positive energy and a passion for quality for an everyday living in a happy environment.
